The Conference and Summit for SADC Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCAs) has been scheduled to take place in Harare, Republic of Zimbabwe. During the Joint meeting of Ministers responsible for Environment, Natural Resources and Tourism held in June 2023, Ministers recommended the SADC TFCAs Conference and Summit to be held in 2025; and consider that the events aim at celebrating the 25 years of implementation of the TFCAs in the region.
The Summit will consider the reaffirmation of political commitment for the TFCAs Programme and enhancing cross sectoral integration for TFCA development.
