Executive Secretary, Dr Tomáz Augusto Salomão held consultations with the Head and deputy Head of the United nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Botswana Mr. Anders Pedersen and Mr. Lare Sisay respectively.
The two UNDP official paid a courtesy call on Dr. Salomao on April 10, 2013 to introduce themselves and their mission to SADC secretariat.
Mr Pedersen and Dr Salomão agreed on the need to collaborate on issues related to their mandates in the Region, particularly on regional integration and development.
