The Ministers of Employment and Labour and Social Partners from the Southern African Development Community (SADC) will meet to review progress in the implementation of their programmes and to take positions on strategic issues in the world of work, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo on 30th March 2023.
His Excellency Mr. Jean-Michel SAMA LUKONDE KYENGE, Prime Minister and Head of Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo will officially open the meeting. Her Excellency Ms. Claudine NDUSI M’KEMBE, Minister of Employment, Labour and Social Welfare will chair the meeting in her capacity as the Chairperson for SADC Committee of Ministers of Employment and Labour.
The meeting will be held at the Government Building, Place Royal Boulevard Du 30 Juin, and will start at 09:00 am. The media fraternity will be allowed to cover both the opening and closing sessions of the meeting.
The Meeting of Ministers of Labour and Employment and Partners will be preceded by the Meeting of SADC Senior Officials of Employment and Labour and Social Partners on the 27th to 29th March 2023.
