Mauritius High Commissioner, H.E. Lutchmun Presents Letter Of Credence To SADC

The Mauritius High Commissioner to South Africa and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Mauritius to the Southern African Development Community (SADC), H.E. Mr. Prakarmajith Vijaye Lutchmun presented his letter of credence to the SADC Executive Secretary, Her Excellency, Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax at the SADC Head office in Gaborone Botswana on the 31st October 2017.

H.E. Lutchmun highlighted that he succeeds Mr. Mohamed Ismael, and will also represent Mauritius on the SADC Committee of Ambassadors and High Commissioners. He reaffirmed his commitment to continue working with the SADC Secretariat and contribute towards achieving economic development, peace and security, and enhance the standard and quality of life of the peoples of Southern Africa.

Dr. Tax welcomed the High Commissioner to the SADC family and thanked the Republic of Mauritius for its support and contribution towards the regional integration agenda. “You are now fully accredited to SADC, and we look forward to your active engagement in pushing forward the SADC development and Integration Agenda” She told His Excellency Lutchmun.

The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr. Yusuf Rossenkhan, from the Honorary Consul of Mauritius in Botswana.
