The Directorate of Human Resources and Administration in collaboration with GIZ held a workshops on September 17-19, 2013 at Phakalane in Gaborone.The objective of the workshop was to impart knowledge to participants on Facilitation as the art of Transformation and to understand a leadership role that is played by a facilitator as far as mobilizing inherent resources and supporting stakeholders in shaping their future is concerned.
The group was taken through amongst other topic, basic facilitation methods, learning from all sources, for an example, the past, the present and the future. Translating systematic thinking into practice, and understanding of the Divergence , Emergence and Convergence process.
The participants were very enthused by the methods used to share knowledge. It is hoped that the participants will implement the knowledge learnt in the management meetings and workshops.
The Workshop was attended by 19 participants eight (8) from the Secretariat and eleven(11) from GIZ and was facilitated by Ingenious People Knowledge Consultants from the Republic of South Africa fully sponsored by GIZ.
