Post-Council Media Briefing by Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia and Chairperson of the SADC Council of Ministers on 16th March, 2019, Windhoek, Namibia

The SADC Council of Ministers met on 15-16 March, 2019 in Windhoek, Republic of Namibia. The Chairperson of Council, Hon. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah who is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia held a press briefing to present some of the key outcomes of the two-day meeting.

During the press briefing, the Chair of Council was assisted by the SADC Executive Secretary, Her Excellency Dr Stergomena Lawrence Tax. Also in attendance were Chairperson of the SADC Standing Committee of Senior Officials, Ambassador Selma Ashipala- Musavyi, the Deputy Executive Secretary for Regional Integration, Dr Thembinkosi Mhlongo, Deputy Executive Secretary for Corporate Affairs, Ambassador Joseph Nourrice.
