SADC Executive Secretary H.E Dr Stergomena Lawrence Tax yesterday met the Australian High Commissioner to South Africa, H.E Graeme Wilson in Pretoria and discussed issues related to the support SADC gets from Australia in line with the Memorandum Of Understanding signed on 13th September, 2012.
The High Commissioner was grateful for the opportunity to meet the Executive Secretary while she was in Pretoria on SADC business to observe the operations of the SADC Elections Observer Mission whose main base is in Pretoria, South Africa. The Executive Secretary expressed SADC’s appreciation of Australia’s continued support which contributes to the attainments of SADC’S objectives.
The two parties committed to strengthen continued collaboration and in particular to continually meet to review progress on agreed areas of cooperation.
